The Sicilian family of Martinez Tagliavia di San Giacomo lives in Palermo where it dwells in the Palazzo Mango di Casalgerardo on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the upper part of oldest street of the city, anciently known as Cassaro or Via Marmorea. Two apartments in the palace are used as Guest House, or “Foresteria” and are leased for holiday lettings.
In Sciacca, a town on the southern coast of Sicily, is located the medieval ancestral Palazzo Tagliavia di San Giacomo.
